Does Estura work without internet?
Completely. Estura runs on the till itself, so every sale, receipt and drawer-open works with the internet down. It stays licensed offline too, with a 30-day grace window so a dropped connection or a billing hiccup never stops a sale. When you're back online, licensing quietly re-checks in the background.
What hardware do I need?
A Windows PC and a barcode scanner are enough to start. Estura works with your Epson receipt printer (such as the TM-T20) and opens a standard cash drawer through the printer. Add a second monitor for a customer-facing display, or run it lean — it's your call.
Can I use my own card processor?
Yes. Estura is processor-agnostic. Keep your existing card terminal and ring the card total through Estura, or connect a supported integration. You're never locked into one payment company or forced to switch banks.
Is my data mine?
Always. Your sales, products and customers live in a local database on your own machine, and Estura keeps automatic encrypted backups you control. There's no cloud lock-in and nothing held hostage — export your product list any time you like.
Can I run more than one till?
Absolutely. Each register runs its own copy of Estura on one subscription, licensed to that machine. Running two lanes simply means two subscriptions — add or remove them as your store grows or slows.
How do I get support?
